Baku, Tbilisi and Qabala Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Gabala, a unique town on the slopes of the Greater Caucasus Range, is famous for its rare combination of beautiful mountain landscapes, historical monuments and a lot of tourist attractions. Gabala has extraordinary rich flora and fauna. in the woods and on the mountain pastures can be found noble deer and mountain tours, gazelles, wild boar, gray rabbit, bears, wolves, foxes and numerous birds – pheasants, partridge, francolin, etc. Forest cover most of the territory of the region, where the majority of growing hornbeams, oaks, beeches, junipers, birches, poplars, walnuts, chestnuts and other trees with the average age of over 500 years. Some of them are included in the list of natural monuments protected by the state. Overnight in Gabala!
Day 2
After Breakfast, we depart for Baku. Baku, city, capital of Azerbaijan. It lies on the western shore of the Caspian Sea and the southern side of the Abşeron Peninsula, around the wide curving sweep of the Bay of Baku. The bay, sheltered by the islands of the Baku Archipelago, provides the best harbour of the Caspian, while the Abşeron Peninsula gives protection from violent northerly winds. The name Baku is possibly a contraction of the Persian bad kube (“blown upon by mountain winds”). Baku derives its importance from its oil industry and its administrative functions. Day At Leisure. Day 3
After Breakfast, we start with Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls were well protected. In 2007, the Old City had a population of about 3000 people. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Later group will experience the happening street of Nizami Street known for shopping. The street's history could be traced back to Baku's town-planning project of 1864. The street runs through the city's downtown from west to east. It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on Sabit Orujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai in “Black City”. Tour continues with the visit to the charming example of modern achticture - The Heydar Aliyev Center – a 57,500 m2 building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003. (Photoshoot outside). Day 4
Tour starts with Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple) Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. “Atash” is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries.
Trip to “Fire Mountain “-“Yanardag” –a mountain on Absheron peninsula, 25 km from north of Baku. Literally, word “Yanardag” means “Blazing mountain”. Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor. Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which itself is known as the “land of fire.”
Start shopping tour with Ganjlik Mall: - located in 10 minutes distance form city center with taxi. Genclik mall is the biggest Mall in Baku and contains over 80 stores, big bowling halls,the biggest movie halls, 3D cinema, Playground for children, Bravo supermarket, VIP restaurants, food courts. Overnight in Baku!
Day 5
City Tour
After completing your immigration formalities, car will be waiting just outside the airport to take you to your hotel in Tbilisi.
Late get picked up for City tour and evening at leisure.

Day 6
Kakheti wine tour
Taste some of Georgia's best wines during this half-day tour to the Kakheti wine region from Tbilisi. Learn about the traditional Georgian way of making wines in clay vessels through visits and indulge in three tastings at different wineries. Sample traditional snacks and desserts in local villages and explore Sighnaghi, an ancient town backed by the inspiring Caucasus Mountains. Overnight in Tbilisi !
Day 7
Mtskheta, & Gori tour
Mtskheta is known for its beautiful architecture and rich history, and it is home to several important landmarks, including the Mtskheta, Gori and carved town of Uplistsikhe, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites. These landmarks are famous for their intricate stonework, beautiful frescoes, and ornate decoration, and they offer a fascinating glimpse into Georgian history and culture. In addition to its religious landmarks, Mtskheta is also known for its picturesque old town, which features narrow streets, traditional architecture, and charming cafes and shops. Visitors can explore the town on foot and soak up the atmosphere of this historic and culturally rich destination.
Day 8
Gergeti Trinity Church
Captivating is the word for Kazbegi in Georgia. Currently known as Stepantsminda, this mountain valley looks to be straight out of a fairy-tale storybook. This picture-perfect postcard destination is just 150 km away from the capital city, Tbilisi of Georgia. Encircled by the Caucasus Mountains, the landscapes of Kazbegi are worth admiring for hours. this region, you will encounter ancient fortresses, medieval churches built atop mountain peaks, exceptional views, and places with unbelievable beauty, where the harmonious juxtaposition of the beauty of nature and of culture will make your two-day trip even more interesting and attractive. Overnight in Gudauri.
Day 9
Gudauri
After Breakfast, we can visit Gudauri! Gudauri Ski Resort is located in Caucasus mountains along the Georgian military road at an elevation 2196 m. above sea level. Gudauri offers its guests ski slopes with maximum exposure of the sun, which is the key to the amazing ski experience for novice or professional skiers. For now there are 7 ski-lifts which can take you up to 3300 m. above sea level and ski runs total length is more then 57 KM. There are a lot of activities as well like para gliding, snow moiling, etc to choose from if u feel Adventurous !
Day 10
Jvari & Borjomi National Park
Visit Borjomi and the Bakuriani ski resort with ease on this tour. Depart from Tbilisi in a private vehicle with your driver-guide and make your way west towards Borjomi. Enjoy personalized attention as you explore the Jvari Monastery, and Borjomi National Park where you can ride a cable car, and enjoy snow activities at the Bakuriani ski resort before returning to Tbilisi.
Day 11
Breakfast at Hotel. Day free to explore & shop on own. Later, get transfer to Tbilisi airport for your flight back home !!
